Pink Floyd – “Comfortably Numb” al tempo del Coronavirus

Diamo spazio a questa bellissima iniziativa tutta Salentina. Una speciale menzione a questo gruppo di bravi artisti che oltre a regalarci alcuni minuti di ottima musica, ci fanno comprendere, in questi tragici momenti, come questa nostra società potrebbe essere migliore. Basta un pò di musica, una poesia, una danza e tanta, tanta fantasia.

DOPO AVER VINTO IL CONCORSO NAZIONALE “CONTEST” DI ARTISTA SUBITO, PER IL SETTORE MUSICA, con “Adagio in sol minore”, Ecco la sorpresa annunciata: Raffaele Renna (chitarra solista e voce), Oro Perrone (batteria), Salvatore Renna (Lap Steel, chitarra ritmica e coro), Sandro Dell’Anna (Tastiere e voce), Antonio Licci (Basso e coro) e con la collaborazione straordinaria della bravissima Alice Dell’Anna (performance artistica di danza contemporanea), eseguono “Comfortably Numb” dei Pink Floyd, nella mitica versione del live londinese (1994). Il testo descrive una situazione di smarrimento, proprio come quello che stiamo vivendo in questo momento storico. Un’opera monumentale che ha lasciato un segno indelebile nell’anima delle persone più sensibili al genere rock cosmico, con vibrazioni anche laceranti, grazie al trasporto che infondono i passi più salienti del pezzo. L’impegno profuso da tutti e cinque i componenti è stato il massimo, come tutte le opere dei Pink Floyd richiedono. Più che come una cover, il gruppo ha vissuto l’esecuzione del pezzo alla stregua di un quasi sofferto viaggio interiore, emotivamente con grande intensità, ma in direzione di un’eternità in cui non ci può essere, per definizione, una meta, ma una condizione di felicità indissolubile.

The text describes a situation of loss, just like what we are experiencing in this historical moment. A monumental work that has left an indelible mark on the soul of the people most sensitive to the cosmic rock genre, with even lacerating vibrations, thanks to the transport that infuses the most salient steps of the piece. The commitment made by all five members was the maximum, as all the Pink Floyd works require. More than as a cover, the group experienced the execution of the piece as an almost painful inner journey, emotionally with great intensity, but in the direction of an eternity in which there can not be, by definition, a goal, but a condition of indissoluble happiness.
